Rotary Club of SkyCity Borivali strongly believes that vocational skills are key to building self-reliance and economic independence. Our Vocational Training programs are designed to empower individuals, especially youth and women, by equipping them with practical skills that open doors to sustainable livelihoods.
Our Mission for Vocational Training
We aim to bridge the gap between education and employability by providing skill-based training in various trades and professions. These initiatives focus on empowering individuals to become self-sufficient, confident, and capable of contributing positively to society.
Through hands-on training, mentorship, and access to resources, we help participants gain the expertise they need to secure jobs or start their own businesses.
Our Key Vocational Initiatives
- Tailoring & Fashion Design: Providing sewing machines, training, and materials to women and youth to help them start home-based tailoring businesses.
- Computer Literacy: Offering computer courses, digital marketing training, and office software skills to enhance job opportunities in the digital era.
- Handicrafts & Artisanal Skills: Training participants in handicrafts, pottery, and other creative skills, along with marketing support to sell their products.
- Entrepreneurship Workshops: Guiding aspiring entrepreneurs in business planning, finance management, and marketing strategies.
